I do not understand what I’m more excited to express today -
these amazing reduced carb krispy treats, or even the beautiful dress from
Shabby Apple that we’re offering! Once
the women at Shabby Apple Boutique contacted me about wanting to give up
certainly one of their fabulous dresses for an IBIH readers I had been
ecstatic! However I wondered steps to
make it match my blog, because we’re mostly food related and definitely do not
have anything related to fashion.
I’ve
been about reduced carb within the last handful of several weeks, and also have
met lots of great people with the blog who're also living reduced carb. A lot of you've shared your inspiring weight
reduction within the comments section, that we appreciate a lot since it fuels
the relaxation people who're still striving to achieve our goals. Believe to celebrate losing the pounds
compared to winning an attractive dress to demonstrate your new figure?!!!
Now to the krispy treats!
Oh the brownies --- So scrumptious!!!! I had been feeling gypped a few days ago since there just appeared to
become salted caramel krispy treats everywhere I looked and that i couldn’t eat
them!
Determined to create a reduced carb version, I began using
flax meal like a base. That very same
day I created these grasshopper pies which comprise exactly the same dough but
baked in a different way. To help make
the salted caramel I combined almond butter with stevia and Torani SFcaramel flavored syrup and it was amazed at just how much it sampled coupled
with the consistency of caramel! I baked
the flax krispy treats first, then pressed the caramel onto them, then cut them
into squares & pressed one on the top from the other to produce the layered
squares. You might make two batches and
do them in separate pans and switch one to the other whole, then reduce
squares. They're very wealthy along with
a little goes a lengthy way. Best
benefit? Each one of these inch square
has only 1g of internet carbohydrates!!!
